I had an extended warranty plan thru Lowes who in turn had Metro Factory Service come out to look at my Whirlpool refrigerator. Water had been leaking out of the ice dispenser and the ice was freezing up inside. After 10 minutes the tech said he needed to order a new door and I would receive it in 1-2 wks. We are now 8 1/2 weeks later, no door yet and after numerous calls to Metro and Lowes I am still being given the run around. Metro gave a different time for the door each time I called (4 x's) and has never once initiated a call to me. I will NEVER use this company again and am debating contacting the local news stations consumer division regarding the entire matter. Forgot to mention that the leak has gotten worse but Metro (Lou) said he didn't know what to tell me to do about it because he isn't a technichian. Great customer service!

I had a service contract on my Samsung washer, Metro came out with inexperienced technicians and they kept guessing on the repairs. Got a refund check from Lowe's because they could not fix my washer and just kept guessing on which part to repair. Lowe's gave me a refund after all the parts had been replaced in the washer except the barrel, which was the broken part. If they new what they were doing they would had known this on the first time they came out not the fifth time. Needless to say, it threw my warranty into void. Now I can't even find a matching washer to my dryer and it is almost 2x the price I even paid for mine two years ago.

Metro Factory Service... Rude...incompetent
My 11 month old Maytag washer broke..I was referred to metro for warranty repairs..a week later someone came to look at it...said it needed parts which would be ordered and sent to us..3 weeks went by...they had no ability to track it..finally they scheduled to come out...two man job according to them...first tech arrived at 8:00 second tech at 10:30... Second tech was rude...left a mess and told us it was not his problem" I didn't break it"... He then gave us the finger in our front yard.. I called customer service to complain, was told I would get a call back that day...didn't happen... Called back today...lady was defensive and dismissive...I'm sure the tech who WAS RUDE AND GAVE ME THE FINGER will be employee of the month.. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE...THE CUSTOMER COMES DEAD LAST WITH THEM.

Poor Customer Service/Parts Ordering
It's been going on for over a month. My washing machine is in nee of repair. I have a warranty for the repair. I should have gone outside of the warranty and chosen a reputable service company. The tech came out, it took about a week to get one to come out. I already identified the required part and told them what the issue was. Still I had to follow their process. The tech came out discovering what I had already told them. Put the part on order and made a new appt date. The new date comes and I call them. They cancelled my order and appt with no apparent reason. I rescheduled via my warranty company. They reordered the part and scheduled service. Service guy arrives and says, they ordered the wrong part. Now we are going on 1 month without a washer. I insisted they overnight the part and schedule service for the next day since it was their error. I am just getting nowhere with the person answering the phone. Their service reps are basicallyy reading from a script and offer no assistance. Sounds like they are working out of someone's house. This is a low budget operation. Stay away. Needless to say, I am very, very pissed!!!! Make a deal with the repair guys directly. Cheaper and better service.

Metro Factory Service - INCOMPETENT & LAZY
maytag washer under warranty. wasted 2 days off work to wait for an incompetent technician who did not know how to open the machine and diagnose the problem. Ordered the wrong parts and still has not repaired the unit. I had to show him how to open the top of the motor assembly door to access the pump and spin bearings. he used tools to scratch the new paint enamel off my $900 washer. Metro factory service sucks! they are no good and should be reported to the better business bureau. DO NOT USE THEM as your warranty service contractor.

I have a dishwasher UNDER warranty through Best Buy when i called them up on a Friday they said they deal with metro factory service Who then put me on the phone with them got appointment for Mon. morning they called early morning not a person a recording to confirm they are coming I sit around all morning like a prisoner only for them to call me at 11:55 to tell me they are not coming again a recording And i took all the stuff out of the dishwasher just to make it easier on them BESTBUY will hear about this And best joke is with the hurricane coming tomorrow they said tomorrow they will be here.. I will start buying from PC RICHORD AND SONS they do all repairs themselves they don't sub out there work

Well it is now July 19th and I do not have my money refunded or any solutions from Metro Factory Service. They do not return my calls and still owe me over $300.
My washer remains unfixed.
Metro factory Service is a miserable company. Someone please stop them from ripping people off!!!

Today is June 18. My two year old maytag stopped working April 20th. There have been three visits from Metro Factory Service, several hundred dollars expended and I STILL DO NOT HAVE A WORKING WASHER! These people are the most difficult, disrespectful, dishonest service people I have ever encountered. They do not know what they are doing. They do not return calls. They do not order the parts as promised. They do not have the mangers call me when in desperation I ask for some help. There is a guarantee they will make your life miserable. Shame on you MAYTAG for recommending them! ~ Washerless and disgusted!

Didn't order piece for my refrigerator for almost a MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On July 3rd ,I called Metro Service to service my new refrigerator. I was pleased they came out so soon but that was the end of my happiness!! It took them almost a month in order for me to get confirmation that the part was ordered through Frigidaire over night , not through Metro. Mind you ,I had called Metro at least 6 times . Representative from Frigidaire informed me that Metro is due to install the part on Thursday of this week. After seeing the complaints on this site, I am really scared!! Will Metro really come and will the technican know how to install the part. ? I WILL NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN !!!!!!

Excessive fees
I was charged $173.06 (including tax) for a diagnosis by Metro Factory Service. The technician came opened the back of the refrigerator and told me that it needed a hose, filter and freon. This would cost me an additional cost of $495.49. This is highway robbery. That would be a total cost of $669.03 to replace freon. If I could afford it, I could have gotten a new refrigerator (for a couple of hundred dollars more). I have a diagnosed health challenge that has hampered my finances. I had to get rid of that wonderful appliance because of the loss of all its content, the heat and the immediate need for cooling for my health suppliments. Janis Lewis (janis920@***.com)

Metro Factory Service -- problems problems
Metro Factory came out to fix a stackable dryer on washer/dryer unit in Master Bedroom on second floor. They did a rush job and dislodged the clip/housing on the washing machine water exhaust tube, allowing the washing machine to expel water into the closet; we never saw it until the water started leaking into the living room (because it had been sitting in the ceiling drywall). So now we have water damage in the ceiling and walls of lower living room area. They never tested the system before they left, so it's a total mess (we're going to have to replace ceiling and insulation in ceiling in living room)

Waist of time and money. Incompetent and lazy employees.
Tech did not know anything about the unit he was called to fix. Did not even pull the stove out of it space to check out the problem. Declared the unit to be fine when the heat escapes from one side of the stove and door of the cabinet next to the left side of the unit got damaged by heat. Besides all of this the tech did not show up twice. I wasted 2 working days waiting for the tech. I called the co. and asked for the tech to bring the instrument to measure the temp on the outside of the unit and naturally (for this co.) he came without the instrument.

Unhelpful and Inconsiderate
I have been trying to get my dishwasher repairs done with Metro Factory Service for weeks now, and my impression thus far is that they are the least helpful, most inconsiderate company I have ever had the misfortune of working with. Not once has the technician come within the appointed time frame. Today specifically I requested an afternoon appointment as no one would be home in the morning, but when did the technician come? 8:00 am. I spoke with two customer service representatives who were utterly unhelpful in rectifying the situation and told me I would need to reschedule. They also let me know that MFS can't guarantee a morning or afternoon appointment no matter what is requested, but that they won't let you know which you have until the night before. I am truly amazed they stay in business. I sincerely hope that after my (rescheduled for the third time) appointment I never have to deal with them again.

5 appointments and many weeks later, my oven is still not working
I cannot express enough how bad experience I have with metro factory services are. I don't understand how they can be the preferred service company for appliances manufacturers. Next time, I won't buy any appliances if MFS is the preffered service company! To summarize, for the past 5 appointments 1) the technician didn't show up for 3 out of 5 times 2) the technician who did show up made the diagnosis (and ordered parts) before he checked the appliance (he didn't check it at all) 3) He asked cash for service fee and said there would be not reciept 4) After the parts came, the technician just put the parts on, didn't check (even if he was asked to) and make sure the applicance is working properly So here I am, just being notified that the technician cannot make the appointment. I wish I could have chosen another service company

Metro Factory Service doesn't show up again
They said they would be here between 12-5 to repair my ice maker. I take a half day off work. They don't show, they don't call, they don't answer the phone. Can a company be any worse? Why would a manufacturer retain these guys? How can they not call? When buying an appliance one must decide about the extended warrenty. Now we see we must also look into what company is providing that warrenty sservice. This is the second time this company stood us up. Its not just bad service. Its they don't give a *** service. They don't show the most basic curtesy, interest, or attention.

Service for refrig, called to reconfirm, run around. 'window' noon-5p, repairman calls at 5:30p and said he's on his way. i said 'great, can't wait to see you, i've waited all day for you', 40 minutes later, i call him back and said i'm waiting in lobby for you. he said 'u said not to come so i'm headed home' His name is HECTOR, he's a liar, *** and conartist. do NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT use Metro Factory Service. I took the day off of work and was holed up in my place and for what? still a broken refrig! omg, wtf

Metro Factory is a joke:
This is not an american company. The owners name is Julio Ojeda from Peru. He is very nasty and unprofessional. His soon to be exwife is a hot mess to. Dont do business with these idiots. I had both these people tring to insult me. If the knew what they were talking about they would have had half a chance. I think some one should report them both. If they each had half a brain they would be dangerous. I hated the service they over charged for services they did not perform. Beware of this company. They will rip you off.
